Víkingr series
“Víkingr”, The old Norwegian word for Vikings. The seafaring raiders from Scandinavia that settled in Europe from the late 8th to the late 11th century are the inspiration for this series of unique marching drums.
With a strong historical European and UK connection to the Vikings we have teamed up with Tveit Union Musikkorps from Kristiansand Norway, one of Norway’s most popular marchingbands to manufacture a first class drum series. This series contains 2 types of drums.
Following Scandinavian traditions these drums come, with strong die-cast single ended tube lugs, durable, Viking strong and 10 times tuneable for a wide tuning range. Using the latest technology in coating we are able to finish our carbon fiber shells in a durable mirror chrome or mirror gold finish creating a unique stunning looking solid base for these drums. A standard muffled Pinstripe head on top gives the drums a warm deep short definable sound preferred by the Scandinavians. On request it is possible to mount different heads and dampening. Víkingr drums can be mounted with the SCS snare system to add that specific timbre the band is looking for.

Víkingr Valhalla
“Valhalla”, known as Víkingr heaven, the name for our upgraded Víkingr marching drum, is a piece of art combining a traditional rope drum with a contemporary marching drum. Adding 10mm breaded white or black polyester rope and Argentina leather tuning sleeves, gives the drum a heavenly cosmetic look without losing contemporary tuning with lugs. This combination produces a most impressive instrument. The ropes are guided by chrome plated rope guides in the top tension hoop.
As the ropes are not going through the bottom tension hoop, the bottom head is easy to replace. The top head is a durable woven thin falam head and will last for many years without replacing.

Valhalla’s rope comes in white or black with a choice of 5 leather colour option sleeves. The Carbon Fibre shell, hardware and the maple hoops can be finished in a RAL gloss lacquer on request. Víkingr Valhalla drums can be mounted with the SCS snare system to add that specific timbre the band is looking for.
